Streamline Inefficiency
MZ assumes all mecha that can travel in the air or even the water must me dynamic in it's streamlining in one way or another. If it is not the frame that is modified to be streamline, then it some dedicated force sheild that all it does is streamline a non-streamline frame. The problem that I was trying to communicate was the need for some ruling for those few mecha in Anime or MZ gaming that just isn't streamlined but can move nevertheless.
Proposed Streamline Inefficiency rules:
Atmospheric Inefficiency: The lack of Streamline technology in transatmospheric mecha.
Multiplier: -x0.03 Air speed is 1/2 of Flight MA
Requirements: Must be able to travel in space and in through the air. (Does not nessarly need to be able to have re-entry equipment though.)Hydrospheric Inefficiency: The lack of Streamline technology in amphibious mecha.
Multiplier: -x0.02
Requirements: Must have Underwater or Space Enviormental Protection. Water speed is 1/2 of Configuration propulsion system (Such as Boat or Submarine Configuration). Everyting else are only able to move 1/6 of the mektons MA.Special Ruling for Enviormental Protection: (Well what I use anyhow.) Water Depth / High Pressure: A mecha can survive up to 25x its (Torso+Armor) kills in meters before imploding. Of course this assumes the cockpit has either Underwater or Space Enviormental Protection and does not have the saddle type of Cockpit.
Other possible Streamline rulings can be Ether Inefficiency for intersteller space travel, similiar to what Gunbuster used, or Solar Flare Inefficiency for solar sail type of propulsion in star systems.
