New Scales
x1/25 Scale Mecha [Micro-mecha scale]
Concept: In some anime series, there is a class of mecha that is very small and usually piloted by either tiny pilots or are extentions to larger mecha. These include Macross II Bits, Pixie power armors, and others. This scale can be used optionally in place to make Remotes.
Proposal: A new scale, 1/25 scale is created, the Micro-Mekton scale. The Cost Factor is more expensive due to in-built weight and space factoring for the technology involved to be 1/5 (CP x0.2), and all costs act like the human-scale.
Scale Factor: 1/25 (1 kill = 1 hit, 1 hex = 2 m)
Cost Factor: 1/5 (1 CP = 0.2 CP)Inspiration by: MZML
x1/4 Scale Mecha [Cyclone scale]
Concept: Like the 1/3 scale this for mecha that don't fit as Roadstriker or Power Armor.
Proposal: A new scale, 1/4 scale is created, the Cyclone scale. Between 1/5 scale and 1/3 scale armors, the cost factor is 3/4 (CP x0.75), and all scalings are handled like Roadstrikers, except the multiplier is x8 for Hits rather than x5.
Besides the Scale Factor and Cost Factor changes, the 1/4 scale runs the same as the 1/3 scale.
Scale Factor: 1/4 (1 kill = 12 hits, 1 hex = 15 m)
Cost Factor: 3/4 (1 CP = 0.75 CP)
x1/3 Scale Mecha [ Mini-mecha scale ]
Concept: In many anime series, there is a class of mecha that isn't exactly powered armor because it's too large, and aren't full-scale mecha because they're too small. These include Patlabor's Labors, VOTOMS, Terra Novan Heavy Gears, Megazone 23's Garlands, and others.
Proposal: A new scale, 1/3 scale is created, the Mini-mecha scale. Between 1/5 scale and 1/1 scale armors, the cost factor is 2/3 (CP x0.66), and all scalings are handled like Roadstrikers, except the multiplier is x10 for Hits rather than x5.
When engaged in combat, Mini-Mektons have a -1 to all attacks directed at them, and +1 to all attacks at 1/1 scale mektons, then are treated like regular scale mektons against all other targets. The cockpit of the Mekton takes up half the spaces of the Pilot's BODY stat, in addition to other systems such as ejection seats and such.
Scale Factor: 1/3 (1 kill = 10 hits, 1 hex = 20 m)
Cost Factor: 2/3 (1 CP = 0.66 CP)Originally Created by Jon Souza
x3 Scale Mecha [Patrol scale]
Concept: This scale was created to be a Three times the size of a Mekton in order to allow more variety in ship sizes. These includes any modest space police patrol cars.
Proposal: Basically similar to the Cruiser scale this scale lies between the 1x and 5x scale. The cost factor is x8.3, and Scaling Factor is x3.
Scale Factor: x3 (1 kill = 3 kills, 1 hex = 3 hexes)
Cost Factor: x8.3 (1 CP = 8.3 CP)
x5 Scale Mecha [Cruiser scale]
Concept: This scale was originally created to fit the Xa'Nib, (of the TSUP Unovaitor Sektor,) who spend there entire lives living six times bigger than a 6ft humanoid, and so a scale was required to be able to make mektons that could accomodate these mamoth creatures. However this scale is also very helpful to make those ships and mecha that are used as escorts to larger scaled machines.
Proposal: Basically similar to the Corvette scale this scale lies between the 1x and 10x scale. The cost factor is x12.5, and Scaling Factor is x5.
Scale Factor: x5 (1 kill = 5 kills, 1 hex = 5 hexes)
Cost Factor: x12.5 (1 CP = 12.5 CP)
x25 Scale Mecha [Sedan scale]
Concept: This scale was created to be a quarter the size of a full Starship in order to allow more variety in ship sizes.
Proposal: Basically similar to the Escort scale this scale lies between the 10x and 50x scale. The cost factor is x125, and Scaling Factor is x25.
Scale Factor: x25 (1 kill = 25 kills, 1 hex = 25 hexes)
Cost Factor: x125 (1 CP = 125 CP)
x50 Scale Mecha [Escort scale]
Concept: This scale was created to be half the size of a full Starship in order to allow more variety in ship sizes.
Proposal: Basically similar to the Corvette scale this scale lies between the 10x and 100x scale. The cost factor is x250, and Scaling Factor is x50.
Scale Factor: x50 (1 kill = 50 kills, 1 hex = 50 hexes)
Cost Factor: x250 (1 CP = 250 CP)
