Advanced Stealth Rules

Theory:
In Mekton Zeta Plus, there are two distinct anti-detection systems: Cloaking and Stealth. Cloaking is a "all or nothing" system that protects against most sensors. Stealth protects against long-ranged radar and ASP systems. However, there may be a need for not the "all or nothing" of Cloaking, but need to defect non-visual sensors from detection.

Proposal:
Three "weights" of Stealth are proposed. We have Basic Stealth, which is a x0.15 modifier, that protects against ASP sensor packages and long-ranged(Spotting) radars.

Stealth, at a x0.2 modifier, has all the previous advantages of Basic Stealth, but also cuts down the effective sensor package range of ALL mecha in half. The only exception is (possibly) psionic sensor systems, based upon psi-lens and based upon emotion scan/clairvoyance techniques.

Example: A patrol of four mecha with Light Heavy Sensor Packages(20 km range) run a patrol line at exactly twenty-five kilometers apart from each other. A mecha with Stealth and a Radio/Radar Analyzer uses it's ability to sneak between the mecha and gets into enemy territory.

Advanced Stealth is, without a doubt, cloaking technology short of the visual component. A x0.3 cost-modifier systems, NO detection method, not radar or psionic, can detect the mecha. Only visual sensors can see the mekton(and not even the specailized ASP systems, just raw sight), and can target it. This limits the range the Advanced Stealth mekton can be engaged at to TWENTY HEXES without Resolution Intesification. As long as the mektons can engaged line of sight with the Advanced Stealth mekton, they can attack it. But the moment they lose line-of-sight, they cannot engage the Advnanced Stealth mekton, even if it is RIGHT BEHIND them.

For our rules, Line of Sight for a mekton is based upon Control System types:
